Description

The RS Sweet Pans 6 Piece Starter Single-Pan Band features instruments made by RS Sweet Pans in Trinidad. The package includes everything you need to get your steelband started. This does not include cases or engine room instruments such as drum set, congas, iron, etc. but they can be added to any package upon request. This is a great package to get a band started for younger musicians. Single-pan bands don’t have any instruments that use multiple barrels so more players can be utilized with a smaller band footprint. This is also great for young players so that they don’t have to look around multiple barrels for the notes. The advantage comes with the trade-off of no longer being fully chromatic instruments. Single-pan bands play in only a couple keys due to the limited array of notes.
